Jim I have the 1st touch model, and all I do is plug in the USB cable, the phone offers me 3 modes one of which is Internet Sharing, click that and seconds I'm on the internet. The phone remains live for calls and SMS and manages the events. So as this is a generic windows mobile process I think you may get assistance from the supplier?

Yup, I've seen plenty of "top cover effects," and other strange things. That sort of thing is evident even when you don't have to reach E-12 resolution levels - like a million times less. The instrument cabinet and hardware are indeed a part of the electronic system and circuits.
