Hello all, Today I ran across this website. www.captainwiki.com . It appears to be an opensource site (similar to wikipedia) strictly for cruisers. Whoever set it up has done tremendous work to get it off to a good start and I really hope it catches on. I added some info already but am passing on to everybody here and a few other lists I belong to.

I found a new website www.oddfeathers.com it seems to be connected to e-bird. It is pretty cool and it is also pretty useful as I have noticed that some birds are reported to e-bird and not to CT Birds. In other words, the seams of the top and bottom layer were offset for strength. You'll need to plan how to arrange smaller pieces to fit your top dimensions. Also, a layer of plywood laminate between thin glass covering will be lighter than solid glass although the latter may well be more durable.

The small printed circuit board has battery snaps to go on top of a 9 volt battery, on top of a 10 AA battery holder or gets power from a wall wart with a 9 volt battery snap connection.
