Life for any wild creature is always at risk, and for any species to avoid occasional catastrophic reductions in numbers is most unusual.

I'm working with my daughter to obtain a die cutting machine to cut the square magnets into ovals. (She has a small business on the side that she could use one for.)

and the temperature change had caused them all to die....very strange sight though. the river was covered in them, packed side by side all the way across (30 feet) and about 60 feet down the length of the river. but odly enough, there were still plenty of live ones beneath the dead ones, and they could be seen through the open patches of water.
