Re: [time-nuts] 10 MHz Oscillator comparison part II
Wed, Jan 12, 2011 12:07 AM
If I’ve still missed something please correct me. > Using a 74HC390 to divide by 10 is a bad idea because of the ripple carry between sections. Either resynchronise the output or use a fully synchronous divide by 10 like a Johnson counter. > This math is the same as multiplying 10 MHz to 10 GHz.

Re: [time-nuts] 5 and 10 MHz crystal filters
Mon, Nov 15, 2010 10:17 PM
Consequently, a 100 Hz wide filter at 10 MHz can really do a nice job on just a decent 10 MHz oscillator. Lincoln Labs proved this in their EDM of a satcom system in the early 80's that then I took over in industry to replicate and improve in 1986. We did have a 10 MHz crystal filter in there for cleanup.

Also, take a look at http://files.ettus.com/manual/page_usrp_x3x0.html the IP address for the 10G interface is 192.168.30.2 not 10.2 On Thu, Mar 5, 2015 at 6:07 PM, Eddie Carle via USRP-users < usrp-users@lists.ettus.com> wrote: > I've been trying to get the 10 GigE card supplied by Ettus working with > our X300 and have had zero luck.
