"Reply to all" Option
Tue, Jul 9, 2013 7:30 PM
If you select the email action "reply to all," remember everyone gets your post twice -- once via the List and once directly. Instead, just send your message by just placing the Great-Loop@lists.trawlering.com in the address bar. And, as always, please "snip" out all unnecessary portions of the previous message(s).

Manta 44 PowerCat update

With half fuel, top end was 23 knots, and she cruised very easy at 18 knots, consuming 12-13 gals per hour, and at 15.5 knots, only consuming 9 gals per hour. The D3 is an all aluminum engine and weighs 500 lbs less than the D4 which is a cast iron engine.

Quantum 4000 Power Catamaran
Sat, Dec 10, 2005 2:09 PM
I own two power catamarans, a 34 ft and a 26 ft Glacier Bay. I am looking for a boat with more of a cruiser configuration. I have been looking at some information sent to me about the "Quantum 4000" but can find nothing except what is on their website and the brochures they have e-mailed me.

Their little monitoring widgets record all of that and send it back to the databases. I'll bet the data is available, you just have to know how to ask for it.

Re: [volt-nuts] Schematic error in Solartron 7150 Plus service manual

In diagram 2.1 (PCB1, Floating Analog), the top of resistor R22 should connect to the Source terminals of TR4, TR9 and the top of R26. This "wire" should NOT connect to the gate of TR4 as it appears to do in the schematic. I couldn't work out what was going on here for a while, and then the penny dropped!
