Re: Optical 10 MHz source information

Perry, Just to be clear, what do you mean "optical 10 MHz sources"? Do you talk about optical clocks? Do you talk about optical cesiums? Do you talk about cold rubidiums? Do you talk about optical 10 MHz distributions? For any new clocks, there isn't much previous experience by independent users to verify claims of vendors. Everyone asks for it.

As written in Wikipedia and as I have always understood: "The term RADAR was coined in 1940 by the [1]U.S. Navy as an [2]acronym for radio detection and ranging."

One note: some of the time nuts had received E1938A' units that had tags on them saying "crystal jumps", so this problem happens in the best families :) bye, Said In a message dated 10/14/2008 17:13:04 Pacific Daylight Time, mfeher@eozinc.com writes: Tom - Thanks for your reply. Several people said 20 feet unsupported was too long, but I'm not gonna fill a 10 foot, 6 inch diameter pipe with foam. I'll get some light chain and individually tie the cables to the chain, then support the chain above the point where the cables turn into the 2 foot arms. Metric conversions are left as an exercise for the reader, as they are for me.
