I have acquired a used OCXO and LPRO-101 rubidium, along with a HP5334B (with Option 10) and a HP5370B from ebay and almost done assembling a TADD-2 kit from TAPR.

Highlights: 17 Common Loons, 3 Red-throated Loons, 1 Horned Grebe, 2 NORTHERN GANNETS, 11 species of ducks including 1 Am.

Rocky Hill Meadows - 10/9

I popped down to Rocky Hill during lunch. 10/9 -- Rocky Hill, Rocky Hill Meadows - BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER; 2-3 PECTORAL SANDPIPERS; 6+ AMERICAN PIPITS. The shorebirds were in with 100-135+ Killdeer at a recently plowed field at the far side before the road turns to follow the river.

WESTERN KINGBIRD YES 10:56am

WESTERN KINGBIRD is directly across in the field from the CAS Smith Richardson Wildlife Preserve and Christmas Tree Farm on Sasco Creek Road, WESTERN KINGBIRD has been flying Back & forth regularly 9:40 via Vanessa Towny, Kathy V and myself until NOW 10:56am. Although I don't see a > real need to run OpenSCAD on the PI2, I am guessing it should work under > Raspbian already, and therefore no need to worry about Windows 10 IoT? The real issue here is performane. Yes it'll run on the PI, but don't try any thing more complicated than a few simple shapes.
