He can also monitor all of the mechanical settings and gauges as well as the various states of sail trim all in real time. If memory serves his original goal was to be able to sail the vessel from home but he fell short for reasons both technological and practical (insurance issues).

westerbeke generators

I have a Westerbeke 8kw generator that will start, but as soon as I release the preheat switch the engine will die. Starts and runs fine, and as long as the preheat switch is held it runs. The solenoid releases when the preheat switch is released. Any ideas what to trouble shoot?
