Re: N8GA and KiwiSDRs

The low frequency one is new, so hopefully it will be easy to isolate. 73, John ---- On 2/23/24 22:30, Jim Bacher, WB8VSU via mvus-list wrote: > At the meeting today we discussed the KiwiSDRs installed at the N8GA > contest site. > > If you go to this website: http://kiwisdr.com/public/ > > You can find all of the KiwiSDRs around the world.

Any reference to many/all ways of measuring frequency?
Thu, Nov 10, 2016 8:17 AM
So if you have something that's not easy to download, please email it to me. I was looking to give a talk about frequency measurements to my amateur radio club. Whilst I am sure that those at the club will only use a commercial frequency counter, I thought it sensible to mention a large number of ways, as I think that would be interesting to some.

Chester, 1/26 - sapsucker, bluebirds, red-tails, and bald eagle
Sat, Jan 26, 2013 7:33 PM
Chester, 1/26 - A fruitful day in the neighborhood! A YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER visited our suet feeder this morning. While out walking, I heard/saw 8-10 BLUEBIRDS in one small wooded area, chattering over territories. Back home, a pair of RED-TAILED HAWKS put on a beautiful flyover show, just above the treetops, calling the whole time.

Re: [PUP] Nordhavn removes diesel-electric page from Construction Fundamentals section?

Actually, the electric motors looked easy to swap should one die, and there appeared to be plenty of redundancy. And, generators are generators. So, do I wish I had gone diesel electric? The part that most worried me is that we are planning a circumnavigation.
