Hopefully it is easy to for other people to re-use as well, I put some effort into documenting what's going on and structuring it to be easy to read. Thanks for the help! That really saved a lot of head scratching for me.

They do eventually die but have managed to get 2-3 years more use out of them so far. I used to just take the home laptop to and from the boat with the map software in it. Was nice cause I could work on routes at home and didn't have to transfer the waypoints and all but now I just use my USB key. Russ

GPSDO Comparison - Never Happened?

Did I totally miss out, or did the idea just die? The reason I mention this is I recently had to move my office for a few months and I don't have any GPS access, hence all my GPSDOs' and accessories are sitting in storage until I move back.
