Re: [time-nuts] FE 5680A "new version" - Filtering the 10 MHz
Wed, Nov 16, 2011 12:25 AM
Is it a simple 10 MHz square wave, or some kind of >> 10MHz PWM intended to approximate a 10 MHz sine wave? If it is a 10 MHz square wave, can I use that as a 10 MHz clock directly (probably through a digital buffer) or does it have a lot of jitter, which the LC filter was supposed to smooth out?

Re: [time-nuts] PRS-10 PPS output
Sun, Apr 5, 2020 4:42 PM
The PRS-10 datasheet (page 59) says: "The LOCK/1PPS function may be configured via RS-232. The factory default is a low level to indicate lock, with a 10μs pulse to +5V at 1PPS, with the leading edge being defined as the 1PPS timing reference. This BNC output is a CMOS logic output via a 1kΩ resistor."

Hi If you have a pair of units, then you have a 10 MHz out of the second box. If you want to have everything in one box, (and not run a pair) you need to re-configure the 15 MHz output as a 10 MHz. Bob > On Dec 1, 2014, at 1:40 AM, Dr.
