Parking Time - was US New Year countdown - accurate?

Pulled up in a "Loading Zone 8-6pm" at 18:00:10. Got out, came back 4 minutes later to find a parking officer giving me a ticket. Me: "Look at the time (showing my watch) - it's 6:04" Him: "Not by my watch" (which said 5:59 at that point). Me (massive sarcasm voice): "So. Let me get this straight.

Lighthouse Point migrants 9/10

I birded the woods at Lighthouse Point, New Haven this morning (9/10) from about 7-9 am, then joined the hawkwatchers till 11am. There were a few mixed flocks of warblers, etc., as follows: 4 R-th hummingbird 2 Red-bell. woodpecker 2 downy woodpecker 8 No. Flicker 1 E. Wood-pewee 1 Willow/Alder flycatcher 2 other Empidonax 1 Great Crested Flycatcher 1 E.

I have an FE-10A oscillator and wonder if that may have been used un the URQ-10. I do not know as I have no info on either, other than the schematics provided by John. My FE-10A is a plug in unit and I have no idea of the connections in order to make it play. Seems like it would be a nice unit and a decent 5 MHz source.

I suppose one can handle this two ways - use a DDS clocked with the 20 MHz VCXO to generate a 10 MHz signal and phase compare (at 10 MHz) this with the input 10 MHz to steer the VCXO to lock with the Rb 10 MHz input as adjusted by the DDS NCO.
