Sat, Oct 14, 2017 10:28 PM
Lighthouse Point Park, New Haven, 10/14/17, 8:00am-3:30pm - 10 Migrating Hawks. 3 Sharp-shinned Hawk, 2 Cooper’s Hawk, 1 Red-shouldered Hawk, 2 American Kestrel, 1 Merlin, and 1 Peregrine Falcon. Weather refused to cooperate today... overcast sky with a north wind that was too light to push the hawks to the coast I guess.

[Ontbirds]10 Great Egrets in Grey County
Wed, Jun 4, 2008 12:27 AM
To my surprise, there were 10 great egrets in an large, open swampy area about 15 km west of Owen Sound. 6 of the birds were moving around in the centre of the swamp, and 4 others were roosting in a dead tree on the far side. Directions: Highway 21 west from Owen Sound to Jackson. Turn right, then left, then right, then left on the back roads.
