Hi All, Popped out during a rain break yesterday to Allen's Meadows and had the Dickcissel and Solitary Sandpiper hanging in there as well as a Tennessee Warbler (same bird as Wednesday?) The only other bird of note was a Grey-cheeked type Thrush in the south woods. Luke Tiller Wilton

Re: [time-nuts] FE-5680A performance

I don't have a 5680A to look at, but all the PPS pulses I have looked at are at least a few volts. They are easy to see on a scope. One common setup is a 5V driver with a 50 ohm series terminator. That gives a 5V pulse without a terminator or a 2.5 V pulse if you terminate it with 50 ohms. The PPS on a TBolt is 10 uSec wide.

Legrace / Wintering in Valence & Tidbits About Buying Fuel
Tue, Aug 23, 2005 10:29 PM
Over the winter we bought fuel twice in Valence at 1.02 Euros/liter ($4.75/gal) and they accepted all major credit cards. Just before we left Valence this past spring we topped up, at 0.99 Euros/liter ($4.61/gal).

Diverse Conversations: Is a 4.0 at an HBCU the Same as a 4.0 at a PWI?
Wed, Jul 9, 2014 12:08 PM
The overall standard is rooted in perceived ranking of Top PWIs versus PWIs. PWIs versus HBCUs and the unfortunate ranking of HBCUs versus HBCUs. Although not used as frequently, during the Civil Rights era, the term "The Black Ivy League" was coined for certain HBCUs that "pulled the best and most privileged Black students."

It should be pretty easy to pop open. You'll use up a bit of solder wick doing it?
