Connecting chain to the boat (what I did!)
Wed, Jul 3, 2013 11:30 AM
Reinstalled the 30 nuts to the studs (of course one would not go on, so needed to use a die to clean up the threads, and of course it was in a place where the handle for the die could not be used.... so...) and turned the room back over the admiral for dressing. My thanks to all.

Can you recommend a waveform that I can send that you believe I should be able to clearly observe (fc=?, etc). It sounded like if I generated a 100kHz waveform and sent it, that it should get through... am I correct on this?

Interesting the HC will work all the way down to 2.2V so everything can be run from 3 Volts. No idea as to the effect of the xtal oscillator maybe the 3.9 M R needs to be changed. It also appears that the HC chip may doing the lions share of current consumption. Spec sheet says up to 20 Ma. Hard to believe actually.
