Marina in Montreal
Sat, May 9, 2009 11:59 AM
Once inside, the docks are mostly new with movable cleats, the staff is helpful and the location is to die for. Exit the marina, go up some stairs and you are in the old city of Montreal. Locks are on all the doors. Wayne Prichard M/V Segue, 1984 Californian 43 wprichard@tds.net

Engine problem fixed
Wed, Jun 12, 2019 6:19 AM
Thank you to all the list members who sent me suggestions to explain why my engine would start and then quickly die. the problem is now fixed and as most people guessed there was an air leak in one fitting that’s a mechanic had simply not tightened. once I got to Alaska it only took a couple of hours to find the problem. thanks again m.

One can only hope that the local coroner is also a Time-Nut, so that time of death can be determined with suitable accuracy and precision.

Snowy owls

I do not like to see animals die from starvation but it happens all over the world. Protection for endangered species may be in order but for the snowy, this is not the case. Let's just do our best to give them space and let nature take its course. _Tim Wininger

Injured Bluejay

If he cannot fly he may die and could use a little R&R and then be released with his buddy. If you cannot do this yourself try to find a friend or neighbor that will help. Thank you for caring and making all the efforts you have already. Kevin

TWL: RE: Fuel Tank Repairs
Fri, Jun 2, 2000 1:39 AM
Dear Holly, The top on the starboard tank was cut away using an air chisel and cutoff wheel. All suspect areas on the outside were sistered on the inside with 1/8 steel plat welded in place. A new top was fabricated with a 1.5-inch turned down edge all around. This was welded from the inside.

NOS Citizen Satellite Wave watch is excess to my needs
Mon, Sep 13, 2021 6:06 PM
You can check out the Citizen website for this model at https://www.citizenwatch.com/us/en/product/CC3005-85E.html . This watch has a GPS receiver and syncs time every 6 days (or on manual command). But what I really like is that it has 40 world time zones that are very easy to set the watch to.
