I used to have pizza boxes on my desk at work. Everything from the SparcStation 1, then 1+, 2, 5, 10, and finally 20.

Sightings in New Canaan & Wilton on Friday, May 6
Sat, May 7, 2011 4:20 PM
We had a wonderful outing to the New Canaan Nature Center, where we saw many Baltimore Orioles and "the usual suspects," like Red=winged Blackbirds, Common Grackles, Song Sparrows, and Tufted Titmice. More interestingly (at least for us) there were MANY Northern Flickers - saw at least 5 at one time in a tree near the butterfly garden. Also saw a Pileated Woodpecker fly in to a tall, dead tree and we could hear him calling much of the afternoon. In the marsh there were 2 male Common Yellowthroats, an Eastern Kingbird, a White-throated Sparrow, a Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher, and a Black-and-White Warbler. Towards dusk we moved to Grupes Reservoir and John D. Milne Lake, where we saw a Double-Crested Cormorant, a pair of Ring-Necked Ducks (they have been there consistently for a couple of weeks), Barn and Tree Swallows in numbers, and a Wood Duck drake. At Kents Pond in Wilton we saw an Osprey overhead, and an American Redststart and a Warbling Vireo by the feeder stream on Linden Tree Rd. Our last stop was the pond on St. Luke's School campus in New Canaan, where we spotted a Solitary Sandpiper, enjoying the larvae in the shallow muddy water on the edge of the pond. Male and Female Rose-breasted grosbeaks

A male and female rose-breasted grosbeak have been at our feeder in Ridgefield for more than a week now. I am thinking there must be a nest in the nearby woods.
