Re: TWL: The 10 Commandments of Posting/Email

George Geist and List, The 10 Commandments of Posting/Email are not original with me. I discovered them with no attribution on an unrelated newsgroup. The poster was not the author so I merely shared them with TWL since they are so "spot on" as Georgs K would say. No credit is deserved or accepted. Rick Austin in Austin

10-foot RHIB experience
Tue, Aug 8, 2006 12:39 PM
Rich, We have a 10-6" AB RIB. Its powered with a 15HP Yamaha and is a delight. Ours has a double floor but AB does make one without the inner "liner" which is considerably lighter. Regardless of what brand you select, pay the extra $$ for hypalon as opposed to PVC, which won't last in the sun. Regards, Randy Pickelmann MORNING STAR lying Solomon's, MD

Quaker Ridge 10/23: 52 Raptors inc 10 Harriers. Great hawkwatching forecast for tomorrow
Thu, Oct 23, 2014 11:41 PM
Today wasn't exactly the most bearable of hawkwatching days conditions-wise, but 10 Harriers (4 Males) made the howling wind and rain more tolerable. Once the clouds parted around 3:30 a decent amount of Sharp-Shins started working their way up the valley from the coast as well.

I have been the 13-foot whaler route, the West Marine 8-foot inflatable with floorboard and blow-up keel with 2.5 HP route, float-bottomed 10-foot inflatable with 5 HP route, and currently have a Bombard 10-foot inflatable with floorboard and blow-up keel (which will not keep its bottom attached to the tubes).
