It took about 20 years for all of the trees to die from the bird droppings. As the trees died they were replaced in the off-season by man-made nesting structures. Every Gator that finishes an event will receive at least 1 point/event (and up to 5 points/event for finishing in the top 3 in your age group and up to 12 points/event for finishing in the top 5 overall).
