Digital Clock kit - no Integrated circuits!
Sat, Jan 9, 2010 4:53 AM
Easy, make a jig, preform and cut the leads to length, solder everything from to top side. Or use tape-and-reel and an auto-inserter. But, the IC-less clock is not nearly as cool as the clock that just uses neon bulbs for the logic... don't need no stinkin' transzippers. -------------------- I won't buy one until it comes in surface mount.

Re: Aft-cabin cockpit trawlers?

We live aboard a Gulfstar 44 with a aft cabin and "sundeck". Gulfstar made this model in a 44,48 and 49. You might check into the Gulfstar owners club in St. Pete Florida. We have found it to be a great liveaboard and cruising boat.

Yes, you can find used Dyer Dinghys for less, but not one in this top condition. If you are interested, please email me at jgodsey at me dot com. I can email or text lots of photos. The boat is in Alabama and I will consider delivery within a 300+ mile distance. > > Here is what the Dyer website has to say, ?
