BG7TBL 10 MHz OCXO
Mon, Jun 3, 2019 9:09 PM
interesting observation: turning the unit 90 degrees onto its right hand side immediately increases the output frequency by 10 mHz (reversible); turning the unit 90 degrees onto its left end immediately decreases the output frequency by 10 mHz (also reversible) Andy Backus _______________________________________________ time-nuts mailing list -- time-nuts@lists.febo.com

10 MHz reference switching
Mon, Mar 8, 2010 11:34 PM
I designed bandwidth-limited (30 MHz) ADA4899-1 opamp circuits to buffer the 10 MHz reference, with theoretical noise of less than 3 nV/rtHz.  Oscillator noise is about -155 dBc/rtHz from 1 KHz to 10 KHz, and -160 dBc/rtHz from 10 KHz to 100 KHz.

There is some guidance here http://www.pavetechnologyco.com/faq/pdf/csg130-132.pdf Note that this is a MIL-DTL-5015 series connector and is also available with fixed solder pins (class A and C) rather than the removeable pis of the class R if to are bored see http://www.assistdocs.com/search/document_details.cfm?

Re: [time-nuts] 10 MHz Filters

Even with a “class C” multiplier, fixed tuned Q< 10 circuits will do the trick for 5 -> 10 MHz doubling. With more exotic multipliers, even simpler filtering will do the job. If you don’t *need* -200 db harmonics, and 30 db is fine — don’t go nuts with the filters.
