fuel prices

Easy "in-out" to get fuel. I put on 750 gals in June for $2.40 (including all taxes). This will last me all summer / late fall and will top off at Ocean Marine on the way south to FL / Bahamas. The top off in the late fall of 2010 should (??)

After being missed on the Christmas Bird Count, RED-WINGED BLACKBIRDS appeared at the Birdhouse Nature Store feeders regularly with one male all week, joined by a second on 26 Dec. Two COMMON GRACKLES are also frequenting these feeders.

Make certain a ball valve is used at the bottom > so replacement is easy but most importantly so it can be closed off all the > time except when you check the level. The top should go either into the tank > top or to a vent.

I have no access tot he top of any of the tanks but it sounds like a side mount will work according to their installation instructions - however I need to think about a side mount on the fuel tanks - don't want to risk a leak...... Mike - > How easy is the "tank tender" to install? Does it work well on holding > tanks?
