1500-2000 White-winged Scoters near Wellington
Thu, Oct 3, 2002 7:15 PM
En route we estimated about 1500-2000 White-winged Scoters on the water. They were in small - medium sized flocks ( up to 100 birds) and most were closer to Wellington than to Scotch Bonnet but birds were visible throughout the trip...we were usually with 1-2 km off the north shore of the lake (Ontario) at that point.
