California consumes about 50 GW (peak) (26 GW for Ca Independent
System Operator as I type this). The two Pacific Intertie lines (one AC
and one HVDC) carry 7GW-ish. That AC line is quite the challenge to
stabilize (it's 1000km long, and I've heard that transients take hours
to die out).

In the case of a coil with a
square as "cross section" this is easy, because it is the section of a ring
- see the solution I showed you with my last post. A round cross section is
much more difficult
Note, that all this is only necessary because linear_extrude expects a 2D
object living on the XY plane to do, what it does.

Highlights were an immature Northern Goshawk and 26 Red shouldered Hawks. Migration shut down in the afternoon when winds shifted from N to WSW.

Need a quick and easy way to add an access port to a fuel or water tank? A friend just put me on to this site which has something that looks like a good solution: www.seabuilt.com
I haven't tried this yet, but the demo on the website makes it look very good and the PDF installation guide seems excellent.

of my all time favorite embedded intel processors was the 80C186. It was
powerful, small, and easy to integrate into designs.

o versions prior to these are linked to the Mozilla website
archive. We could import, but it's a lot of work due to manual
formatting. I won't spend my time on it, but if someone really
wants to do it it's relatively easy, just time consuming.
