Had to change them all out for 110V / 60 Hz. Now these 240 V fans if hooked up to 110 V run at about half speed, whisper-quiet but still move a fair amount of air. If you ever get your hands on one, try it - you'll like it. George of Scaramouche1, Lake Ontario, Canada
