I believe our die offs here didn't begin till the onset of our warm weather, thus exposing our birds to molds and such. I have taken down my thistle feeder, cleaned up all the spillage and am offering Sunflower chips and whole sunflower that I step on to crack the husks, and offer them on two flat tray feeders.

Keith Muellar Wins Top Honor At Ward World Bird Carving Championship

Today our own Keith Muellar won the worlds most prestiguos bird carving competition taking top honors with his hand carved rendition of a "Common Potoo".  For those so inclined you can read all about it at "wardmuseum.org" under  "2013 World Championship".  Congrats Keith on what words can only describe as a visually stunning piece!

Other boating environments may dictate a very shallow draft vessel, one that to an open-ocean boater or even inside-waters boater looks "top heavy." But in the conditions for which that boat was designed, it may well prove a better vessel than any other type.
