Cleaning sea chest
Tue, Aug 26, 2014 10:14 PM
I have a diver coming in a few days and I plan on using a10 mil tarp to put over the bottom of the chest, over the grating thereby stopping most of the water coming into the sea chest. I will have extra pieces of tarp available just in case. What thinks the list, will the tarp be sufficient, any suggestions what to use. Thanks Paul Koch

The DC jack coordinates are also offset for the width of an 1/8” end mil. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/49570443/b200_hammond_1455L1601.pdf https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/49570443/b200_hammond_1455L1601_a.jpg https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/49570443/b200_hammond_1455L1601_b.jpg Lou, KD4HSO

But I've since found out that the abuse pretty much all stratum 1 servers, including several .edu, .gov and .mil servers.

The one in the US mil version of the 1992 was only used in that from my experience. Yes, it is a good oven, and tricky to adjust. If you want better accuracy, that's why there is an external input :^) Dan

Efratom FRK - no 10Mhz oscillator
Tue, Dec 20, 2011 6:21 PM
I don't think they used any aluminum electrolytics in this mil-grade gear. VCOs can stall from inadvertently reversing the polarity on the varicap diode, causing it to forward bias. In some circuits this is possible, which turns the varicap from a high-Q capacitor into a load resistance on the oscillator.

military frequency standard pin out??
Wed, Mar 7, 2012 3:45 PM
Hello Folks, I found in my collection a frequency standard that I acquired mil surplus at one time. The model number of 2N6625-078-4718 internet search yields nothing on this number. The unit is a common looking one , approx. 4" x 3" x 4" with an aluminum cover that comes off. The cover has the layout of the parts.

Along with a handful of Redheads, a pair of scaup was off Sebastopol Island on August 10. The first Black-bellied Plover of the season appeared on August 10 near Owen Point, where Semipalmated Plovers are the most numerous plovers. Semipalmated Sandpipers are present in increasing numbers, along with at least one Baird's Sandpiper.
