Connecticut Audubon Seeking Birders of all Levels!
Wed, Apr 25, 2018 1:37 PM
Calling birders of all skill levels, Connecticut Audubon will hold its inaugural Bird-a-thon on May 18, 19 & 20. Ours will be a three day event instead of the usual one day, a fun and friendly chance to find and count birds throughout the State. All proceeds will go to our bird conservation work throughout Connecticut.

Re: T&T: birds and bird droppings on bimini top

Had the guano problem last Spring and determined that the culprits were roosting on the TV antenna attached to the aft mast about five feet from the top. It was one of those flat disc shaped affairs about twelve inches in diameter.

In any event, I highly discourage use of the much shorter (7 >>miles) Northwest Channel unless you transit at high tide, have protected >>prop(s), and well less than four feet of draft (look at Active Captain for >>all the warnings).

No more multiple SIM cards for each group of islands and the hassle of topping off all the time. It's great."

Wed, Sep 6, 2006 1:08 PM
Since NOAA has made all their charts available for free, Maptech has recently developed a product that has all the NOAA charts, but also all the river charts on DVD for only $50. It is hard to locate on the maptech website, but here is the link to it: http://www.maptech.com/water/usboatingcharts/index.cfm?

From Carabelle to Mobile Bay and from Tarpon Springs to Cedar Keys
Mon, Mar 12, 2007 3:13 PM
Can anyone tell me if there are any issues for a 5' ft draft sailboat going from Carabelle to Mobile Bay on the GICW? I will be there in about a week and have heard different things regarding hurricane shoaling etc. First hand accounts please. Also, from Tarpon Springs I would like to go to Cedar Keys but it requires a stop in between.

Joint between Flybridge and Cabin Top Does it need caulking?
Mon, Jan 14, 2008 5:10 PM
On a Marine Trader 36 sundeck model, the flybridge rests on the cabin top. The joint is concealed behind teak molding strips about 2" wide. Is there supposed to be caulking in the joint between the flybridge and the cabin top? I don't see any purpose for it but ??? Bob Siegel Annapolis

RTP Nat traversal problem using STUN ? for Windows Mobile in .NET
Tue, Dec 9, 2008 2:14 PM
I managed to create a STUN client for windows mobile based on another API, signaling is ok (I call Stun client before sending every SIP request and call it before sending RTP to include the IP and public port number from stun server in the SDP) but I cannot seem to have RTP (no voice) what could be the problem?
