[Ontbirds]Purple Sandpiper Cobourg harbour Oct.26
Sun, Oct 26, 2008 3:22 PM
It doesn't seem at all wary but photographers were giving it respectful room. The Snowy Owl was not seen today but may well still be around. A single Brant was in the harbour 2 days ago. Directions: Exit Hwy.401 at Division Street, Exit 474, and drive south to the harbour.

[Ontbirds] Ospreys on nest
Mon, Apr 11, 2016 1:08 PM

It has a black plastic screw in vented cap, and makes topping off your pump easy. The hose is also clear, so if it's where you can see it by looking under your helm it's easy to check at a glance if the system is full. By the way, these pumps shouldn't "seep". If all the fittings are tight, it may just be the o-ring around the shaft.
