I'm not all that talented with OpenSCAD, but the posted code has no module calls. Drop a gear(); in there and you get an 8 tooth gear. Change parameters in the () and you'll get what you want, maybe.

Their website is at http://www.eversoft.ca/ (no connection, just a satisfied customer, etc.). By the way these guys actually manufacture some of the foam, and I got a tour of the whole operation. It's pretty cool. They had a bandsaw with 6-foot diameter wheels and a very thin blade that looked like a serrated bread knife.

I used a 2032 coin cell battery and holder I un-soldered from an dead PC motherboard. Even a coin cell will last its shelf life at least. You will need to level shift the serial data to/from the MT12 if you want to connect it to a PC.
