Re: [time-nuts] PLL book 3rd edition

Help for alarms
Wed, Jul 20, 2016 10:47 AM
It is for this reason that some engine manufacturers put a kill switch into the oil pressure system since the engine is soon going to die and never recover anyway. But loss of oil pressure is rare and pretty easily detectable if you are careful to test run after oil changes. Oil pump failures almost never occur. Tom Averill

Re: [OpenSCAD] Why is the 2015.03 kept as the "official" release?

> > I live and die by parametric design. So do I but I have never tried the customiser. I prefer all my parameters to be set in the source code under source control, not a GUI. OpenSCAD is not a GUI based CAD system. I don't see why assert, echo, lc-each, etc, are still experimental.

Re: [time-nuts] Racal-Dana 1992 switches

They start to feel a bit less springy than usual, then die. My 29 cent Jameco switches have worked for me for at least five years now. I don't think you would want to have paid racal's prices for them anyway :^) dr
