Re: HP 10811A vs 10811-60111

I've seen mil-spec versions of the 5238A shipped with a EGG 10811 clone. It is not impossible that HP would ship whatever met spec or better in a counter. But more importantly the other reason it's hard to know is that the 10544 and 10811 are 20 to 30 years old now.

Re: [time-nuts] homebrew 13 dBm distribution amplifier based on NIST design 5 to 100 MHz

The efficiency might be improved with a 10 uH choke from the final collectors to gnd. That could be accomplished without ferrite or at least with a large air gap. regards, Gerhard dk4xp

You see them in MIL-STD-1553B systems, among others. Triax is also fairly common as a connector for "shielded twisted pair".

I have done a fanout board for the Xilinx Coolrunner XC2C64 to 100 mil square pads. The small chip in the Background is the core voltage regulator, The plug fits to the Xilinx USB configuration cable. Enough to create 1pps from 100 MHz. < https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/4Bpcfouj8WH0shNGIyuVUtMTjNZETYmyPJy0liipFm0?

Yours looks like it is from a MIL version of the 5328A with the 10811 OCXO.  Attached is the most-likely schematic, which is from the manual for the 5328AH99 TRI-SERVICE COUNTER found in Keysight  obsolete products: https://www.keysight.com/en/pd-5328AH99%3Aepsg%3Apro-pn-5328AH99/tri-service-counter?

GR 1115-C free to good home

Unit comes with a manual (you can view it on KO4BB.com or BAMA boat anchor site), one GR874 to BNC adapter, MIL accessory connector for 24V and EFC input, and IEC power cord. Crystal is a Bliley BG61A-5 (AT cut). Oscillator uses a copper oven inside glass dewar, all foamed-in-place in an aluminum box that plugs into the main chassis.
