Tue, Nov 12, 2013 6:33 PM
Ahoy Listees You may remember that I created a blog to document what was formerly known as the free docks list .... http://www.friendlymooringslist.blogspot.com/ I started this list years ago before we started our boating journeys and have collected information to share with others along the way.

Free courses from the UK’s National Physical Laboratory
Tue, May 12, 2020 3:32 PM
I would imagine these courses, which can cost upto £750 ($925 USD) each from NPL, are free until the end of June. The general ones look of interest to anyone interested in metrology. The specialist courses are not voltage or time related. The general one will take 5 days to complete them all.

Re: T&T: Free Charts For Nobeltec?
Sat, May 27, 2006 10:38 AM
I have 6.5xx and they do fine. http://nauticalcharts.noaa.gov/mcd/Raster/Index.htm for the BSB raster charts. Download them and unzip them into (or copy them) to: C:\Program Files\Nobeltec\Charts\BSB In order to organize them for myself I actually put them in a folder below that,i.e. C:\Program Files\Nobeltec\Charts\BSB\Tennessee etc.
