That's really odd, I've never seen one stop booting after it sent
something to the serial port.

I just tried uhd_rx_nogui on a recent build here and it failed.

Do you mind sending the error to the gnuradio list? I'm pretty sure that
is a gnuradio flowgraph. I suspect something changed in GNU Radio and no
one updated the example. Hopefully it is an easy fix.
