Deepthi,
The answer depends on which daughter card the USRP2 you are using is fitted with.
If it is a Basic-RX then, yes, as it has no on board filters or tuning circuits it will work largely as you suspect,  though of course it will also alias other signals into the same spectrum as you wold expect from classic Nyquist theory. If it is one of the the other daughter card models, then the answer is no for the reasons Marc previously stated.
